Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette!
So i oredered this palette from the states after all the reviews i had heard on you tube about it. The palette was $20.00 in a half price sale and postage was around $17.00 (i think). I received this package around a week and a half after i ordered it and along with it i got some cool free extras! Who doesn't love a freebie ehh?? The extras that came along with the palette consisted of two I LOVE MAKE UP stickers which i think are quite cool, some information on their products and a sample of eye shadows from one of their other palettes. When i first looked at the palette i have to say i was really disappointed by the packaging as it is flimsy and quite cheap looking. However im over that now, I really love the colours in this palette, the pigmentation isn't of the highest quality i have ever used but despite all that i do love this palette... :)
The look i created using my new palette!!

Quick Tutioral...
I have to be honest i had to slightly had to dampen my arm so the top row of swatches were visible. These colours are not as pigmented as i had thought they were going to be as i have heard so much good things about them, however this palette has some GORGEOUS colours and the shadows work very well when used on a damp brush and are very long lasting. In my make up pictures the shadows are used dry.
I used this cream shadow by Benefit in a gold colour to prime my lid...
I then took the top colour (pearly white) and placed the shadow on the inner corners of my eyes. I took the bottom colour (gold) and placed it all over the moving part of the lid. I packed it on generously.
I took the a pointed brush and applied some of the colour in the top picture in and above the crease, applying it in wiper motion. I repeated this step with the colour from the bottom picture. I wanted this look to be quite dramatic so i blended these shadows high on the brow bone with my MAC 217 blending brush.
I then took a rounded bullet brush and placed black in the outer V of my eye. I placed this using small circular movements and then gently blended it being careful not to drag this black colour to high. I then took a large fluffy blending brush and sweeped this maroon colour that i had previously used in the crease, above the crease just to give it back any colour i had lost while blending...
With my elf smude bush (LOVE this brush) one by one i placed these colours under the eyes to increase that smudged out dramatic smokey eye effect. As always i used my MAC blacktrack eyeliner to crate a super winged out eyeliner effect.
COMPLETED LOOK!!
