Fuschia make up look walk through!!

As always i started by covering my entire lid with primer. I highly recommend priming the lid as it will help to keep your eye shadow from creasing and help to maintain it for longer. Today i used the FUSCHIA Tinted Veil just because i had it at hand and it actually worked quite well. I used this tiny little beauty blender to smooth it out! (aww the cuteness)...

I took my fluffy blank canvas blender and applied OH MY ORANGE (FUSCHIA TRIBAL) all over the lid and in and above the crease, applying i in wind wiper motions, back and forth blending it upwards and outwards. I then took a smaller blender brush, MAC 217 and applied RED FOR REAL (FUSCHIA palette) in the outer corners and outer crease, again applying it in wind wiper motions blending it up and out. Using those two colours together in that technique will create dept. I took my clean fluffy blender by blank canvas and blended everything together making sure there were no harsh lines. I then took a small shader brush from blank canvas cosmetics and applied i to the back of my hand, i took a small amount of the loose FUSCHIA pigment in the shade MOLTON LAVA and HEAVY METAL and mixed it in the Fuschia iseal and applied it to the moving part of the lid excluding the inner corner of my eyes. I took the black colour from he FUSCHIA SMOULDER palette on a small pencil brush and applied a small amount in a V shape on the outer corner to once again create dept and elongate my eyes. I took a small blender brush MAC 217 and gently blended it out and up!!

I used the FUSCHIA in black to create a dramatic winged liner effect. I cleaned up any spillage from under the eye area with a water wipe and proceeded to prime my entire face with FUSCHIA Tinted Veil primer. i applied my FUSCHIA Mineral photo touch foundation in the shade porcelain with my beauty blender, i concealed under the eye are with my INGLOT concealer and smoothed it all out once again with my beauty blender. Never forget to set your under eye area with a powder as it will crease if you don't. I used FUSCHIAS rice powder to set my under eye area.

I took FUSCHIA powder contour kit and using the shade BANANA i applied it under my eyes and to my fore head, sparingly down the center of my nose and above my top lip. For my next step i took JAVA from the same palette on a tapered contour brush and and applied it to the usual contour area. i then took a large dense fluffy blender brush and took a small amount TRUFFLE again from the same palette and gently went over the contour to create more dept! I applied mineral blush in GLOW to my cheeks and then very sparingly applied a small amount of RED FOR REAL over the cheek bones.  I took my MAC 137 brush and applied SAND again from the same palette to the top of my cheek bones, brow bone, center of my fore head and above my top lip line to create a beautiful high light!

Using a smudge brush i applied OH MY ORANGE from the outer corner across to the inner corner excluding the tear duct area. i then took the iseal mixed with the pigment MOLTON LAVA and HEAVY METAL applied it from the outer corner and brought 3/4 of the way in, i also applied it to the water line. I took my FUSCHIA mascara and applied it to my lashes before applying my FUSCHIA mink lashes in the number 215 and reapplied some mascara.

I decided to pair this look with a bright coral lip as it is summer after all!! Bar the feckin weather!! Over all i really like this look and of course you can make it even more dramatic by placing tape around the eye area first before doing the eye shadow and also darkening the outer corners a littler more... I completed the look by filling in my brows with FUSCHIA Boom brow and dusting a small amount of rice powder all over my face!!

Fuschia Tribal Palette

So here it is... My absolute favorite favorite favorite product from the Fuschia range... The new tribal palette...  <3

Eye shadow is definitely something my kit is not lacking. I only use what i believe is the best, I don't fool around with mediocre shadows as i don't believe in wasting time trying to build up the color intensity... (it takes long enough as it is) These colors are super pigmented as you can see from my color swatch below, however the lighting isn't the best and the colors are even more amazing in real life... LOVE... <3

This is 100% one of my favorite palettes i have ever used to date and its an absolute steal at only 27.50. It is a kit essential for anyone in my opinion particularly people to looking to build up their kit. Its so versatile, even though it only contains 7 shadows you can create many different looks with this palette. the color PENNIES FROM HEAVEN is just gorgeous also even though i haven't featured it in my post. I have similar colors in other palettes but the color pay off is no where near as vibrant as this shadow. This color is amazing especially on blue eyes.... I also used RED FOR REAL as a blusher and sienna is perfect for contouring. The two first shadows are perfect for a subtle inner corner and brow bone highlighting.... Its a win win!!

Two looks i created using the FUSCHIA Tribal palette available today in BEGLEYS PHARMACY!

SLEEK MAKE UP @ ESKE PHARMACY REVIEW!!

So i recently went mad on the new SLEEK range and i thought id share with you guys my thoughts on the products. As always my opinion is honest and if you have any further questions just holler at me :)    First lets all take a moment to appreciate the packaging... Just amazing... :)

So Everything on may face to day is from the SLEEK range featured in the picture. Primer, Bare skin foundation, eye shadows, contouring and blush palette, blush pixie pink, illuminate and sleek lipstick and mascara. the only product which isn't sleek is my eye primer which is urban decay! Everything got in ESKE PHARMACY Donegal Town (see bottom for Facebook links and contact numbers)

So lets start with the primer. Overall i have to say that its not my favorite product. I found it quite hard to work with if i'm honest. Although when its on and well worked in it does leave your skin feeling silky and smooth. I feel like you have to use quite a bit of product also so for me id take it or leave it!

Next up we have the cream to powder foundation. Usually i stay well clear of thee foundations as i often find them quite cakey and flat. However i really like these. I have them in two shades, oyster and white rose. These are definitely my new go to everyday foundations. As they are cream to powder foundations i expected them to have more of a powder finish, and they don't but i like that. They are quite good coverage and are so handy and compact and best of all affordable. I'm glad i instead :)

Sleek Bare skin foundation- in the shade Barley. Okay so from the pictures you can tell this shade is a little dark for my pasty white Irish skin tone but it will be perfect in summer for that slightly more bronzed look. This foundation has a medium to heavy coverage. Its super build-able which is awesome. And its ridiculously light weight which is very important to me as i hate heavy foundation. I feel like you are getting plenty of product for your money also so yeah thumbs up for this product...

So sleek eye shadow palettes... These are one of my cosmetic love of my life!! Anyone that knows me knows that I'm quite tough when it comes to criticizing eye palettes. Unless its urban decay, Sonya or MAC I'm probably not interested... Unless of course that is you are SLEEK! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these palettes. I'm still in shock a the high quality of pigmentation of these shadows. They are with out a doubt the best i have used for this price to date. and the most wonderful part is they are so so affordable. They come in lots of different shades. They blend amazingly without loosing color, the shimmer colors are dazzling when applied wet and they stay on all day long! What more can you ask for?

Sleek Lips-So when i saw these palettes i had to get them. With four shades in each palette, they each have Matte, gloss and satin finishes so you have plenty of choice. They are perfect for me as a make up artist but they are also perfect for everyone. again the packaging is brilliant and so handy to throw in your handbag it comes with a compact mirror and brush. The colors gorgeous and are quite long lasting. Super happy with this product, and i have to give a special mention Ballet lip palette. A nude palette, I just love this palette so much. Don't know how i ever survived with out it to be honest..

Lip Stick.... Okay... WOW... Seriously... I'm quite speechless at the superior quality of these lip sticks. They are super pigmented, super long lasting, they have a gorgeous creamy texture and without a doubt the quality of a MAC lipstick. Infact i way prefer texture of the SLEEK Lip stick. Its quite insane how good these are considering they are quarter of the price.
And the best news yet... I found a dupe for the famous MAC heroine... Its SLEEK (obviously) in the shade EXXXAGGERATE. If you don't have this gorgeous sought after purple tone lipstick i suggest you get it! I have both MAC and SLEEK! The SLEEK one wins my vote ;) (This pic is not in the shade exxxaggerate, i have misplaced it so don't know the shade off hand)

Contouring and blush palette in the shade Light- I love it when they do these combos. So handy, especially for carrying around. It contains a bronzer, highlighter and blush. I feel the bronzer isn't as pigmented as the other two but its definitely workable. the highlighter is gorgeous. this is 100% my new go to powder highlighter. It has a beautiful pearly finish. The blusher is a rose gold color, perfect if you want to go with the bronzed look. I also got a blush in the shade Pixie pink and i absolutely love this color. It pairs very well with the blush in the palette. Not disappointed with either of them two products.

Illuminate in the shade- luminaire 01. I tried this in the store and i didn't think much of it. i found it a bit sticky in texture. I got it home and tried it and i really changed my mind. There is such a gorgeous glow from this product and it works just perfectly over or under foundation. Great wee product!

And last but DEFINITELY not least the Mascara- FULL FAT LASH 421- this Mascara is the bees knees, the cats elbows, you get where I'm going!! I cannot brag enough about this product! Once again the packaging is on point and i love the shape of this brush and how it handles. I think the pictures speak for it self. By the ways this is after just one coat. If you don't have it already then      YOU NEED TO GET IT!!

Final Thoughts

Overall I'm very happy with most of my products. You are getting MAC quality cosmetics for extremely low prices. If you havnt already checked out this range then i strongly suggest you do. Call into Eske Pharmacy Donegal Town or check out there facebok page for a full range of sleek cosmetics. Eske are now offering a postal service to anyone not within the area! Sure you couldn't bate it ;) Thanks for reading <3

Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette!

So i oredered this palette from the states after all the reviews i had heard on you tube about it. The palette was $20.00 in a half price sale and postage was around $17.00 (i think). I received this package around a week and a half after i ordered it and along with it i got some cool free extras! Who doesn't love a freebie ehh?? The extras that came along with the palette consisted of two I LOVE MAKE UP stickers which i think are quite cool, some information on their products and a sample of eye shadows from one of their other palettes. When i first looked at the palette i have to say i was really disappointed by the packaging as it is flimsy and quite cheap looking. However im over that now, I really love the colours in this palette, the pigmentation isn't of the highest quality i have ever used but despite all that i do love this palette... :)

The look i created using my new palette!!

Quick Tutioral...

I have to be honest i had to slightly had to dampen my arm so the top row of swatches were visible. These colours are not as pigmented as i had thought they were going to be as i have heard so much good things about them, however this palette has some GORGEOUS colours and the shadows work very well when used on a damp brush and are very long lasting. In my make up pictures the shadows are used dry.

I used this cream shadow by Benefit in a gold colour to prime my lid...

I then took the top colour (pearly white) and placed the shadow on the inner corners of my eyes. I took the bottom colour (gold) and placed it all over the moving part of the lid.  I packed it on generously.

I took the a pointed brush and applied some of the colour in the top picture in and above the crease, applying it in wiper motion. I repeated this step with the colour from the bottom picture. I wanted this look to be quite dramatic so i blended these shadows high on the brow bone with my MAC 217 blending brush.

I then took a rounded bullet brush and placed black in the outer V of my eye. I placed this using small circular movements and then gently blended it being careful not to drag this black colour to high. I then took a large fluffy blending brush and sweeped this maroon colour that i had previously used in the crease,  above the crease just to give it back any colour i had lost while blending...

With my elf smude bush (LOVE this brush) one by one i placed these colours under the eyes to increase that smudged out dramatic smokey eye effect. As always i used my MAC blacktrack eyeliner to crate a super winged out eyeliner effect.

 COMPLETED LOOK!!

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed!

 FESTIVAL MAKE UP !!

As its that time of year when we dig out our wellies, flower head bands and tents, i thought i would share my simple festival make up look with you guys and show you the products i have used to achieve this look.

I went for a purple smokey eye with dramatic liner. Sorry the pictures aren't great quality.

I choose my new go to SLEEK palette to create this look. Taking my MAC 217 blender, i placed this matt pink in and above the crease, bringing it gently up to onto the brow bone. This colour transfers on to the skin in a soft pink shade and is a perfect transition colour. Then taking a soft, flat shadow brush from ELF COSMETICS i packed on a matt white all over my lid. I then took a small pointed crease brush from BLANK CANVAS COSMETICS and picked up a small amount of this burgundy/purple colour and placed it in my crease. Gently applying it in wind wiper motion, back and forth, bringing it higher slightly each stroke until i reached my desired position. I have to mention i LOVE LOVE LOVE this colour in the SLEEK Palette. Its one of my favourite colours at the minute. This palette is available at ESKE PHARMACY Donegal Town. Amazing palette.!! <3

I used this FUSCHIA loose pigment in the number 03 to add a pop of colour to my eyes. I love working with loose pigment. It does require a little extra time and effort but the results are amazing and nearly impossible to achieve with regular eyeshadow. This pigmet is available at BEGLEYS PHARMACY, Donegal Town and i am eager to try out some more in other colours.

I swathed this pigment so you could see properly how vibrant this colour is as my pictures are poor quality and you cant see the intensity in the pictures. The swatch on your left is without the LA SPLASH eyeshadow sealer/base and the swatch on your right is with it. You can clearly see the difference...

I took my LA SPLASH eyeshadow sealer/base and applied it using tapping motions on the lid. Being careful to keep it tidy and not go to far up and leaving the inner corner of my eye free. I then took a firm flat shadow brush, dipped in carefully into the FUSCHIA pigment and tapped of any excess back into the pot. I packed it gently onto my lid. I slowly built up the colour like this and then dusted away and excess of my lid with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. With my small pointed crease brush i applied this black colour at the outer corner of my eye blending it slightly with the purple pigment. Afterwards i applied MAC fluidline in black to my lash line and dragged it out to create a dramatic winged liner.

Taking 3 colours from my SLA palette and my LA SPLASH eyeshadow sealer/base i created the dots around my eyes. I applied the sealer one dot at a time, followed by an eyeshadow. I used a cotton bud (cue tip) to place the eyeshadow on top of the sealer. I alternated the colours. I would also like to mention that the LA SPLASH sealer is a key product in this look and works incredibly with loose pigment.

My entire make up never budged a bit all day and night!! Hope you can guys like this look and i would love to see your photos of any recreated looks. I will leave links below of the places you guys can find the products used in my post. Any questions please leave a comment ;)

Happy Festival season everyone :) <3

Sleek Palette at Eske Pharmacy

I got this gorgeous little palette at Eske Pharmacy Donegal Town. I am always looking to expand my make up collection and i have finally found the most perfect selection of eye shadow and blusher palettes on the market for the crazy price of  10.00 - 12.99 . I love buying palettes rather than individual eye shadows as they are not nuance to carry around unlike individual eye shadows/ blushers. However finding one with the colors i want and at an affordable price is extremely difficult. So i was pleasantly surprise when i was introduced to SLEEKS range of gorgeous shadows available to buy at Eske Pharmacy Donegal town. They have six different eye shadow palettes, so you will definitely find one to suit you. They also carry a fabulous range of blusher palettes with gorgeous color combinations that i haven't seen before.
I swatched a few of my favorite colors from this palette as this is the best way i can show you how pigmented these shadows are and i have to say the result is pretty amazing. Don't forget girls these eye shadows are just 10.00 per palette. Alot of the shadows resemble colors from the naked 3 palette which is my all time favorite go to palette. Which retails at around 45.00. As you can clearly see in my photos these shadows are extremely pigmented. In fact, in my opinion they are just as pigmented as URBAN DECAYS NAKED 3 Palette for a small fraction of the price. Wow! LOVIN IT!! <3

A quick look at some make ups i completed using SLEEK OH SO SPECIAL PALETTE!!

All the shadows i used in these two looks are from my sleek OH SO SPECIAL 658 palette. I also used BOXED to fill in my eyebrows and RIBBON on my cheeks for blush.

These pictures are not edited, the pictures to your left above was taken without a flash and the other one was taken with a flash!

I love these palettes so much that i used these to create looks on my client also. My client on your left was a wedding guest and my client on my right wanted a natural light smokey eye for an evening occasion. As you can see the palette i choose is perfect for wedding guest, bridal and natural looks but also works well for a more dramatic smokey eye.

Some more products from SLEEK available at ESKE PHARMACY DONEGAL TOWN!!

SLEEK BLUSHER !! I love these little blusher combos, they are amazing as they have fantastic colors i have only seen is high end products. These blusher are definitely the quality of the higher end products but with out the high end price tag. At only 12.99 these blushers are amazing value. They will last you an age and double up as shadows and some of them as bronzers. Just like the eye shadows they are very pigmented which also means it will last longer.

SLEEK POUT POLISH!! These pout polish are are creamy in texture. They are moisturizing and also pretty pigmented which once again will hold its color well. These pout polishes are perfect for your normal summer day. You can wear them bare faced or apply on top of nude lipstick or lip base with a brush for a night time look. I really like these as they are creamy and non sticky and wont dry out your lips as they are very moisturizing which is perfect when out and about in the summer sun and for sale in Eske Pharmacy for only 5.49.

FINAL NOTE AND REASONS TO BUY!!

Its a Steal

I've been looking like a crazy woman for eye glitter for a while now and found it difficult finding what i want without spending a fortune.I came across this new (to me) product called LA Splash. There selection of glitter pots and eye dust pigment caught my eye. The pots of glitter cost  7.99 per pot and the eyeshadow sealer base also costs  7.99 Both products are very reasonable compared to other brands. Then i spotted this set, with four colours. Gold, silver, black and purple. Fantastic news for me as i wanted them all. This set also contained the glue/eyeshadow base. And it cost only  19.99. These pots of glitter are the perfect size and will literally last you forever. The amount of different looks you can achieve with the glitter alone is endless. They have a wide range of colours in both the set and to buy individually. The eyeshadow sealer base is on another level. This stuff is amazing and i don't know how i haven't heard of it before. Rather than tell you i'm going to show you.

Above each line is two swatches of the same shadow. The one on the right of each set of swatches i used the glue/eyeshadow base under the eyeshadow and the one on the left i didn't use it. As you can see the swatches on the left of every line is barely visable and the ones on the right are much brighter and visible. The first pinky tone shadow is from rimmel, the second white shadow is also rimmel and the third one is a wee shadow from essence. Although these eyeshadow weren't all that expensive so i can really complain, i do really like the colours but they are pretty useless when they aren't visible and no way vibrant.

I would apply this on the moving part of the lid as a final step to my eyeshadow routine, and my shadow of choice on top of it. This is also perfect for adding that wee pop of colour or sparkle to the inner corner of your eye. and not only does this work wonders on poorly pigmented eyeshadow it also works amazing with the higher end and amazingly pigmented shadows. Below i swatched a shadow from the urban decay naked 3 palette. Although these shadow are so fabulous they don't need any help it does make them appear alot more vibrant and striking  and will keep your eyeshadow in place all day & night!!

You can find La Splash here in Eske Pharmacy in Donegal Town or Eske Pharmacy Facebook page. They have a nice wee range of products and are very reasonable in price. Another thing that caught my eye was the colour liquid liners. Call in to Eske Pharmacy and see for yourselves. Some cool wee products. I'll definitely be expanding my collection with more LA Splash cosmetics and soon. Will keep you guys updated. And let me know if you guys would like to see some of my pictures of make ups using the glitter pots!
